This is a place for those in the Multiply community and others to post and connect about Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) vehicles. For those not familiar with them, CNG vehicles are powered by the same natural gas you find in your stove and furnace. CNG is not Propane (LPG), although there are Propane cars out there too. CNG is the cleanest burning fuel for the environment and easier on the engines that use them. Many states are seeing the benefits of CNG through tax breaks and other incentives. CNG is usually lower in cost than Gasoline and that attracts many to the vehicles. In Utah for example, CNG sells for $0.73 a Gallon Gas Equivalent (GGE). CNG is also entirely produced domestically and not imported. Click on the links and find out about all the advantages that CNG offers to the US and the environment. Disclaimer: Since this features car models from the various manufacturers such as Ford, Honda, GM and the like, I should say that said manufacturers are neither part of or endorse this website. The pictures and other posted items are for informational and educational purposes only. No endorsement of any specific models are implied. I do have my personal preferences (as you can probably tell) but anyone considering a purchase of a CNG vehicle is encouraged to explore the options out there. There are many websites, including mine on Blogspot which lists CNG vehicles on E-bay, which can provide information on CNG vehicles.
